Well we've been home for about a week and a half now with Carter and we seem to all be getting a little more settled and used to what's going on. Dane and the dogs are still exhausted and I'm definitely tired as well, but we're all adjusting. He sleeps for a couple hours at a time so it's really not too bad. Last night Carter actually slept from 11:45 to 3:15 - I was amazed, and it was really nice to get to sleep for 3 1/2 straight hours. He's become a big fan of his swing and passes out in that pretty quickly. He still likes to snuggle, but has gotten a lot better about sleeping by himself at night. At 12 days old he's already gotten so much bigger. The newborn clothes he had are definitely too small now and we're about ready to need to move up to a size 1 diaper. He's still a little piggy and loves to eat, and overall seems to be doing great. He's starting to be awake for longer periods of time and likes to just hang out and look at you. The other day he was laying there staring at the Rockies game on the TV for about 15 minutes - he's apparently already a baseball fan. He's also been doing really well when we take him out and about. He seems to like riding in his car seat on shopping carts as the vibrations make him sleep soundly. He also got to meet more family and friends this week and even went to Jon and Leanne's wedding. He had a pretty busy week for a baby!
