Dane actually had to work on Christmas Eve so the boys and I hung out and had a pretty relaxing day. The boys were getting over and I was still dealing with a pretty good cold so I was glad we didn't have much going on. We just bummed around, watched Christmas movies, made cookies and then had Leanne join us for dinner. The boys were excited to get to open their one present on Christmas Eve but I told them they had to try to all take a picture together beforehand. Nothing like some bribery to try to get a brothers shot.
They got a lego Bucky the pirate ship which then kept them occupied for the rest of the day - which was nice because I got a lot of cooking done for Christmas.
Carter was very excited to put some cookies out for Santa and some carrots for the reindeer
Leanne helped me haul all the presents in and we got the tree all ready once the boys went to bed
The dogs were also there to help be "reindeer" and take care of the carrots
Christmas morning the boys booked it down the stairs and ripped into their stockings before poor Owen had even gotten up. He enjoyed his first stocking and his new toys to chew on.
Lots of legos and some switch and go dinos were big hits this year
Owen mostly enjoyed chewing on the paper
My parents came up later in the day and joined us for dinner and of course the boys then got a few more presents to open
Owen just wasn't so sure what all the commotion was about
Hungry Hungry Hippos has been a big hit
And Owen just continued to enjoy the paper more then anything
