Huffman Happenings: 9 Months

Owen, at 9 months you're just as happy as can be. Now that you've got crawling down you are loving being able to really explore the house and play with your brothers. You are always following them around and seeing what they're doing. I have a feeling you'll always be right by their side as soon as you're walking and can keep up. Now that you're mobile you love to play chase. You think it's so funny and will crawl as fast as you can as I try to get you. Tickling is your favorite and you love to laugh. You're so joyful it's contagious to the rest of the family. You're liking more and more foods and are getting pretty good at the finger foods despite only having your two bottom teeth. You're super laid back and just go with the flow. You're quite content to just sit and play with yourself or you're just as happy playing with us. You love cuddling up to your blankie at night and have started to prefer to stretch out in your crib rather then snuggling in my arms :( But you'll still appease me and give me some nice cuddles other times. You love being outside and always try to crawl out the back door whenever it's open. You'll sit in the sandbox or play at the water table all day long. You're just so sweet and so cute - to the point you might convince your dad that one more baby is a good idea ;) and we all love you terribly!

When I was getting ready to take Owen's 9 month pictures Carter ran in and said he wanted to be in them. Owen was happy to be hanging out with him.

Then Landon wanted to join and wanted to hold Owen - Carter then pouted

Then we traded back and Landon pouted

Then they all decided they were done with pictures and that it was time to play. Most every morning our bed is made and it doesn't stay that way for long. The boys love wrestling on it and launching themselves into the pillows.

Owen got dangerous and started trying to crawl off the bed so he was confined to the floor

Then he got back on the bed to join in with his brothers

Carter loves to wrestle with Owen and sometimes I worry he's getting a little too rough (like below when he's got Owen by the shirt and was launching him into the pillows) but generally Owen has got a huge smile on his face and is laughing his head off.
