Last week Carter had his 2 month check up. He weighed in at 12 pounds 15 ounces and was 22 1/2 inches. It's crazy to think in 2 months he's almost doubled in weight (he definitely has no problem eating!) and grown 2 1/2 inches. He continues to become more alert and aware and enjoys just being held so he's facing out so he can look at everything. He also loves to be outside already and really enjoys the breeze on his face and through his hair. He's still loving bath time and we've now removed the infant sling so he can splash his legs around. He's also becomimg more and more vocal and loves to "talk," especially with Dane. They'll sit together and Dane will howl and Carter will howl right back. We both of course think it is completly adorable and Carter also seems to think it's pretty fun. They'll sit and talk back and forth for quite a while though. I love seeing how much Dane has started to bond with him and really enjoy spending time with him now that he's getting more of a personality. Dane does still like to pass him off when he's fussy :) but has gotten much better about being more "womanly" while rocking and soothing him!
