I'm a warm weather girl. Perhaps it's the California girl in me, or being born in the south - I just like the heat. I dread fall because it just means it's about to get cold and then I'm not happy with the weather again until May. Granted we have a lot of sunny days here in Colorado, but it's still cold. I would like it to always be 85 and sunny - my heaven! But there are some perks of fall. I love the changing leaves and how pumpkin becomes a centerpiece to many meals. I could eat pumpkin pie all day long every day... But there's also football, and that we love. Carter got to experience his first Rams game! It was against TCU (ranked no. 5 nationally) so it wasn't a pretty game, but we sure had a great time tailgating. Started it off with some cornhole. This was my and Dane's Friday night project. He made the boards and I sewed the bean bags - they seemed to be up to Carter's standards.
Sean and Tracey grilling away
Carter hanging out in his chair and looking at me like I'm embarrassing him by taking his picture (I should probably get used to that look then)
Luke and Brady after Brady enjoyed one of the cupcakes I made. I made some chocolate pumpkin cupcakes which I thought were delicious - I was glad someone else agreed! I like to try to sneak pumpkin into whatever I can lately.

Sean and Tracey with baby Carter (Luke and Katie's second son and another Carter experiencing his first Ram's game)
Carter was so intrigued by everything going on
Surprisingly it was only 6-0 at half time (TCU up) but it went all downhill second half. Carter probably made the best call out of all us and decided to go ahead and take a nap through the second half.
Slept through the whole thing while we sat there wanting to bang our heads on a wall...here's hoping for next season!
