Ziplining

One day at the beach Dane found a sea cucumber.  At first Carter was interested but after he poked it with a finger and felt how slimy it was he didn't want anything to do with it.

And off to go ziplining.  My mom really wanted to do this so one day all the girls went and then the next day all the boys went while we alternated watching kids.  Of course the boys took no pictures - I don't even know that they took a camera.  It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves.  I think we had the most fun at the waterhole with a zipline at the end.  

Me being scared of the shaky bridge I was about the have to cross.  Doesn't help that I have two sisters that thinks it's hilarious I'm weirded out about bridges I can see through and like to bounce me on them.  

My mom and I did a really long tandem line together so I got some pictures of her while she was going down.

At the waterhole there was a small zipline off a platform.  The guides talked to us about letting go before you hit the block at the end so you didn't get flung off.  Although they mentioned that it was entertaining when people hit the block and flew through the air.  Earlier in the day we'd told them that Kristen would always pretty much do whatever we said and proving that to still be true she listened to us and hit the block and went flying.  She did a pretty nice face plant.  Leanne then went and ended up doing a good back flop and had a bright red back for the rest of the day.  I managed to flail about but came out unscathed.  It was a lot more fun though so we spent most of our time hitting the block and seeing where we ended up.  Then we got fancier...

And a video of all three of us going together (I'm glad my mom accidentally was taking videos rather than pictures because now I have proof that this was all her idea).  The guides weren't so sure about it at first but then let us go ahead and do it a couple times.  One time Kristen freaked out and decided to just grab onto Leanne and pull her off rather than just jumping - good decision Kristen :)  We also seemed to provide entertainment for the rest of the group as we were the only ones swimming.  At least we sure enjoyed ourselves.
