New Jersey

Well all three boys were able to get out to meet great grandma when they were around 3 months old.  Due to schedules we didn't get to make it out with my sisters this time around but we did get to go with my parents so the boys got lots of grandparent time.  Carter was a little social butterfly and made friends with all the neighbors and was a big fan of great grandma Lotty.  Landon and Owen also got some nice bonding time too.  We spent lots of time on the beach (mostly Dane and Carter) did some sightseeing stuff, played outside a lot and enjoyed just getting to spend a week together as a family without work, etc.  I've always loved heading out to my grandma's house and I love the fact that I think Dane enjoys it as much as we all do too.  Dane and I even made a special trip up to New York City this time which was a lot of fun especially since neither of us had been there.  We all had a great time down at the shore.

Landon and Dane enjoyed some cartoons on the way out

Owen was a good little baby and just napped and ate.  Funny how by the 3rd kid the infant is the one I'm least concerned about when flying.  It's trying to contain a toddler that now terrifies me.
Landon liked playing in the sand but wanted nothing to do with the water and wouldn't even get close to it.  We've determined he is a warm weather/water baby and prefers Hawaii beaches where we couldn't keep him out of the water.
Carter has definitely reached the age where being cold doesn't phase him as much.  He and Dane got lots of beach time and he was so fun to watch.

Owen got some nice naps down on the beach

Everyone would get worn out by the afternoon

Kayaking in the bay
Loving the water

and me and Landon staying back at a distance
He did like to go chasing after the seagulls though

One day a horseshoe crab came up while we were playing in the bay
Carter had a blast "surfing"

Out for a kayak with me.  He actually passed out on my while we were out.  Made it a little tough to paddle...

When Dane and I headed up to New York my parents took the two big boys and they went and saw the big boats
and headed to Cape May.  Carter climbed up the lighthouse with my dad and then my dad got to carry him back down.  Apparently going down the stairs was a little too scary for him.
While this looks like a hug I'm sure it was probably Carter just trying to hold Landon back from doing something.  It looks sweet though.

He actually was pretty indifferent.  He'd pull his toes up since it was cold but no crying or anything.

Our attempt at getting a picture of all three boys.  Landon did not like the poky grass - not at all.
So we got a picture of Carter and Owen
So pretty and relaxing

On our way out
The boys were exhausted after a week of fun
Owen was all smiles on the way home and you can see Landon's little head in the bottom right corner as he slept.  Luckily this was the situation because getting home was quite a process due to being delayed then diverted to the springs and taking about 7 hours to get home due to thunderstorms...
