Mexico Trip!

Well baby Huffman you have now taken your first trip out of the country as well as to the beach! We were so excited to get away for a few days around November 14th (Dane's birthday) and to take a trip down to Playa del Carmen. We had a ton of fun driving around the area in our little rental roller skate car and to explore. We got to visit a couple ruins and a few cenotes. I think the highlight of our trip was renting a scooter and riding around Cozumel. There were quite a few secluded beaches where we could stop and relax and snorkel. It was a great time and I think much needed for both of us. Plus we ate dinner right across from Terrell Davis! (Dane was VERY excited). I've still been feeling good, but Dane definitely gave me a bunch of grief for the amount of snacks I brought along. When you have to eat every couple of hours to prevent feeling bad, lots of snacks are needed - and they came in very handy! A couple of days after we got back we had another doctor's appointment and got to hear baby's heartbeat! It's was going strong and was amazing to hear. I thought it sounded like a dog panting, but the doctor said it sounded perfect. We've been really lucky so far with everything going smoothly and no big worries! We hope it continues on this way. One month down, eight to go!
