3 months already!

We're pretty sure about 2 pounds of his total weight is in his cheeks!Sitting straight up got to be too much work, leaning is much easier
Posing for the camera He's getting so chubby!!! Hanging out on a blankie on the floor having a good time
Carter is already 3 months old now and it is absolutely amazing how much he has grown and developed in these 3 short months. It's also surprising how much and how quickly we have learned things along with him. He's taught us important things like: a diaper definitely needs to be on tightly, you can function with only a few hours of sleep (although you might not be a very pleasant person), a baby smiling at you is probably the greatest thing in the world and a giggle is even better (Kristen got him to giggle the other weekend and it was the first time I had heard him; my mom also got him to giggle the week before when my parents were watching him), that small and simple things are all that really matter, that I can be more content than I've ever been when lounging around on the weekend with Dane and Carter, he loves to sit and talk with you and it's such a great conversation even though you're not using words, it really is so fun to watch him grow and learn, all you really need to keep him happy is some diapers, the boob and a smiling face! I think our little beefcake is up to about 15 1/2 pounds now and continues to just keep getting bigger and bigger. It's somewhat amazing that he can even hold his head up with those chubby cheeks! He's started to really discover his hands and feet and started to hold his toys and "carry" them around. He's also starting to roll from his back to his side and vice versa so it seems like he's beginning to think about rolling over. He sits up really well in his infant seat and when he's supported with his boppy. He also has some strong little legs and loves to push and stand up whenever you put his feet on a surface. We love him so much and are enjoying every minute with him!
