This weekend Carter went with me and Leanne to get our haircut and then we headed over to Oktoberfest for a bit. He did great being out for the day and really enjoyed watching us get our hair done. Lots to look at!

Passed out after all the festivities and a busy day
Dane and I headed out for the first time without Carter this weekend. Leanne babysat for us and we went to Sushi Hai with a group to celebrate my friend Jenny's birthday. 
Looking very excited in this picture about our Saki bombs. We had a great time at dinner, but after food, a couple of beers, and being tired from the week we were ready to head home by 10:30. Our new exciting lives as parents! It's pretty much how it's always been, now we just have an excuse of why we have to get home! :) 
Dane's boss Craig has a vegetable garden and gave Dane this huge Zucchini - pretty much the same size as Carter!
He also sent some squash which was about the size of Carter's legs!
Carter is continuing to do well and is just growing so quickly! We head out to Philadelphia and the Jersey shore to visit my Grandma and other relatives tomorrow. I'm nervous about the plane ride, but excited for our first family vacation. It'll be fun to take Carter to the beach and to be able to all get to hang out for 5 days. Hopefully it goes smoothly!

OMG - that is a HUGE zucchini! Cute pics. Thank goodness for the bjorn eh? Frees those hands up for the beer:-)So cute!
