Baby's 1st Brewfest

Last weekend Dane had a test in Fort Collins so we decided to all go and make a day out of it.  While Dane was taking his test Carter and I went to a nearby park to play.  He was having fun playing peek a boo and hiding back and forth around the pole.
He's really been into pointing the last few weeks.  If he sees anything that interests him, he's pointing right at it.  He saw a bird land near the swings and that's what caught his attention here.
He was bending down to take a peek under the slide and get a better glimpse of the bird.
Saturday was also brewfest so we had to go while we were there!  It was in a new location this year which made it much more feasible for us to go with Carter.  There was a lot more space, more shade and a little park nearby where we could camp out in the grass.
Here's how Matt and Dane started out brewfest...

Cheers dad!
After brewfest we headed over to Matt's house and had a great time hanging out with a bunch of friends we don't get to see that often.  We're really looking forward to the 4th of July this weekend and all the plans we have.  I think we're mostly looking forward to the Rockies game and fireworks and the Firecracker 5K on Sunday morning - you can have strollers and dogs, so we can bring the whole family along!
