We were headed up to the CSU football game and still hadn't had a chance to get our Halloween pumpkins so we decided to stop along the way to Fort Collins. Carter got his first experience at the pumpkin patch at Anderson farms. We started out by checking out the goats.
Then moved on to the llamas
The Carter and Dane enjoyed a nice barrel train ride
We found a pumpkin that wasn't much shorter than Carter
And then hoped on the wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. On the way out they stop by buffalo, long horns and cows and give you pellets to feed them.
Carter was super intrigued by the animals
And off to find the perfect pumpkin!
After we got our pumpkins we headed to tailgate at CSU. Carter thought the cornhole boxes were more for climbing on than anything else.
Dane headed into the game with Sean and Tracey but Carter and I headed over to Courtney and Jamison's house to hang out. Everyone else came to meet us after the game and we all had dinner together. Carter was having so much fun at their house. He was squealing and running around as Courtney and Jamison both chased him and he overall had a ball (well until it got late and he had to go to bed). I was surprised how much he was into Courtney and Jamison because he's totally been in a big stranger danger phase lately and is really shy. Guess he just knew that they meant fun! In the middle of all his running around he found my camera, brought it to me and then stood there until I took this picture.
