Since it's in between seasons right now that means Kristen is in between jobs until the resort opens up...so she decided to head up to my parents house for about a month. She also spent a good chunk of time up here with us and had lots of fun play time with Carter. He thinks she is absolutely hilarious! We all headed to the zoo one day and it ended up being about 85 which is not what you'd normally expect for the beginning of November. Kristen and Carter were both sweating and dying from the heat :)

That night we had a surprise 30th birthday party for Dane, Andy, Matt and Derek that me and the other wives had planned. They all have birthdays within about a month of each other and since it was the big 3-0 we thought it would be great to do something fun for them all. We got a bunch of family and friends together and rented out a room at Forest Room 5. Surprisingly none of them had any idea and were completely surprised and all seemed to have a great time. Carter got to go socialize for a bit until it got to be too late and then my parents took him home to bed.

On Dane's actual birthday on the 14th we went to Warren Miller with Sean and Tracey, made a spaghetti and meatball dinner with Leanne and had some birthday brownies. Pretty low key but I think he may have partied himself out after his party on the 6th.
