What a boy we have on our hands! Leanne likes to call Carter a meat head and it's really quite an appropriate name. He loves all things that the stereotypical little boy should - balls (all balls, all sizes, basically anything round), cars, trucks, tackling, wrestling, running, getting dirty and getting into lots of mischief. The other day I was on the couch on the phone with Leanne and noticed Carter had the measuring cups. At first I didn't think much of it because I give them to him all the time when I'm cooking. I then realized that I hadn't done that though. I then followed him into the kitchen and discovered this is what he was doing...
At one point he was literally hanging from the drawer
He stood up on his little tipie toes and reached as far as he could and took out all that he could of the drawer. Time to baby proof again due to this new discovery of his height!
Along with causing mischief like this he's also doing lots of great things. He's starting to say more and more words and can melt any heart when he gives you a wave and says bye-bye. He's still hung on to those baby blue eyes somehow (my mom is very happy to know they came from her - she's the only one between Dane and I and our parents that has blue eyes) and has his thick curly hair (I think I'd have to cut his hair every 2 weeks to keep it short). He loves to play and be chased but still loves to read and has really started to like coloring. He also loves shoes, cottage cheese, Jamba Juice, being upside down and finding little cave like areas to hang out in. Quite the little character!
