We're chugging along through this pregnancy and Dane and I both think the next few months are going to fly by (we've got a lot on the agenda) and baby #2 will be here before we know it. I had my 16 week appointment last Tuesday and everything sounded/looked good. Next time is when we get the exciting news of whether Carter will have a brother or sister for a wrestling partner. He's just either going to have one tough little sister or she'll hate him if it's a girl. Got a nice little belly starting though (as you can see in the picture) and have been feeling good. Haven't had any nausea the last few weeks and have as much energy as could be expected. I've also started to feel a little bit of movement which is always a reassuring thing. It's funny how this time around I know it's baby whereas last time I wasn't sure if it was baby, pulse or digestion until I started getting firm kicks. I look forward to the next few weeks of getting a little bigger and it being obvious that I'm pregnant. Right now I'm at the point where if you don't know me or that I'm pregnant I just look like I've got a nice gut going - what a wonderful feeling!
For all who know me and my frugality our purchase of the BOB was a dig deal for me. I spent probably entirely too many hours of my life researching double strollers. With all that research everything kept pointing me to the BOB. Yet, I thought I could find a more affordable stroller that would really suit me/my kids. Every other stroller I found had something missing though...so when my mom called me and said she found some BOB's on sale I decided it was just worth it. And hey now I figure I will be going out walking with this stroller even if I don't want to just so I get my money's worth. I have a feeling it probably will be one of my favorite things though. Of course when it came Dane and Carter took it for a test drive in the house.
Carter really liked the fact that he had 2 seats to choose from. He kept moving back and forth - he might be a little upset when he realizes someone else will be sitting next to him!
Carter liked the feature of the clear viewer on the sun shade - he thought it was so funny he could peek at dad.
And finally I am caught up on blogging which has not been the case for the last couple months!
