Christmas Eve morning my little helper and I woke up nice and early and made some sugar cookie dough. He was very excited about his first beater!
He sat there and licked it clean.
Once the cookies were baked and after a nice morning nap we all decorated them. Well I mostly just tried to wrangle Carter and the sprinkles so he didn't get too out of control with them. Luckily there was one bottle that came out really slowly so he mostly used that. We had a lovely rainbow colored counter and floor afterwards though.

Carter also had to sample his work. So he ended up with a face full of frosting and some of the cookies had little finger marks through them...

We always had a tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve so we've continued that with Carter.
