Joe and Tori were going out in Denver on Saturday to celebrate Tori's birthday so they asked us if we could watch Ashton and Elam. The weather was so nice that day (our first flip flop and shorts day!) and we spent all day outside. Carter enjoyed lots of time running around the yard and getting to play with his water table in the morning. In the afternoon when Ashton and Elam got to our house we headed over to the school/park. Elam wanted to play tennis which basically equaled Ashton hitting the balls as far as she could, Elam chasing after them and then Carter chasing after Elam. They had a blast though and it wore them out while Leanne and I sat enjoying the sun watching them run around.

We then headed over to the playground for a bit and Carter got to go down the big slide with Ashton's help.
When we got back they spent some time playing with the water table.
And then after dinner they got ready to watch Tangled. Elam had climbed in Carter's couch and Carter thought there was plenty of room for the both of them. He thought snuggling up seemed like a great idea though I don't think Elam agreed.
The air mattress seemed liked a better solution for all 3 of them :)

Delicious! Even Elam was full after just one. Once again Carter was trying to sit right next to Elam - he had tried to squeeze onto the slide next to him, but discovered that wouldn't work.
