Landon was 4 months old on Wednesday. We went to the doctor for his 4 month check up on Monday and here are his stats:
Height: 25 1/2 inches (70th percentile)
Weight: 16 lbs. 8.8 oz (75th percentile)
Head: 42.5 cm (75th percentile)
So he slimmed down from the 90th percentile but is still a big guy. He's doing well, super strong and still a big eater. He's also an excellent sleeper. I'd heard of babies that slept through the night at 2 months and I thought either a) mom's were lying or b) I would never be so lucky to have one of those babies. Carter didn't sleep through the night until about 5 months and he was definitely up every couple hours when he was an infant, which got to be very tough. Landon was only getting up once to twice a night around a month, which then decreased to once a night as he got close to 2 months, and when he finally reached 2 months he started sleeping through the night. WHAT??? I didn't even think that was possible. But yes, we are very, very, very lucky people and he likes to sleep from about 8:30 to 6 or so. Every once in a while he'll wake up around 4 and wants to eat. But usually he takes 10 minutes to eat and then passes right back out. And more often than not he doesn't even wake up. AWESOME! I think this is probably the biggest reason for me being able to tell Tracey the other day that I'm already ready for another baby, but not ready to be pregnant. Landon has been such a happy and easy baby. We are very fortunate and I feel very lucky. We both thought Carter was pretty easy and thought we'd have it coming, but Landon makes Carter look like the challenge. Our little Lando is just as laid back as could be, loves to watch his brother, is a smiler and a piggles as Leanne calls him (a combination of pig and wiggles - which perfectly describes him and his favorite activities). He was also showing off for us tonight and rolled over. Though I only partially count it. I had just rolled him onto his stomach and so his arm was already up and he flipped himself right back over. He did it a couple times though so I think the movement has begun!
