Back in busniess!

Alright, things around here are starting to not be such a mess and completely disorganized and we're getting into the groove with this whole staying at home thing (it's heavenly!) so hopefully blogging can now resume as it's normal pace.  I figure if I'm even getting grief from friends (mostly you Court!) then I must be lagging on this.  I need to go around and take some "after" pictures of the house and hopefully soon I can show off all the work Dane and I have done.  With lots more still to be done...  But for now here are some kiddo pics from June starting off with swimming.  Birthday posts to come later.

One of the things I was really excited about with staying home is actually being able to take the boys to events.  Most activities are not really made for working moms.  So I signed Carter up for swim lessons the last week of June and here he is right before class started.
Landon and I hung out while he ate breakfast, watched the kids and did a little splashing of his own.
Carter did pretty good towards the end of the week with lessons.  But he had a couple days where he was not so sure about it and one day where he was only in the pool for about 5 minutes.  We're working on this whole shy thing but I remember being pretty much terrified of all adults when I was a kid so I can understand and don't push him too much.  Plus he's only 3 :)
On Friday he was a little rock star though and stayed in the pool the whole time and participated.  Here he is doing his "choo choo" along the wall.
and practicing rocket ship arms
then after jumping to his teacher he had to swim back.
This is what he was looking forward to most all week.  The have this big slide at our pool but parents can't take kids down on their laps (lame).  But he got to go with swim lessons and he was really excited about it.
Proud of his ribbon and probably most excited about the sucker he got
We've also been doing lots of pool time in the backyard.  The boys love the dino pool my parents got them and have gotten quite a bit of use out of it already.
The tongue really helps when you're sliding
Landon's turn to slide!
Carter was so exhausted one day after swim lessons and playing hard he passed out while eating his dinner :)
