Sorry for the delay in your birthday post Lando - not being able to find the mouse to the computer for the last couple weeks kinda slowed me down...
Piggles, Lando, Commando, Mr. Banando, aka Landon. How in the world are you already one??? It seems like just yesterday you were causing me to be in labor for nearly 3 days before actually making your appearance. I now feel like this perfectly defines you. You're the most laid back little thing until we do something you don't like - then watch out. You've been funny because while most babies are probably toughest the first couple months of their lives that's probably the easiest you've been. You would lay anywhere, didn't really care if you were held or not, didn't fuss much and were happy as could be as long as you had a full tummy. Since you've gotten mobile and developed more of you personality you definitely already have an opinion on things. If you've got something in your hand and you don't want us to take it away you will scream. Not whimper or whine, but full out scream. You've got quite the set of lungs on you and are SO loud! You're also really cute and are very protective of me. If you're brother is playing with me and tackles me you'll crawl over as fast as you can and wail and try to push him off. For now you think no one should mess with your mama :) You're starting to play more and more with your brother and are very interested in whatever he's doing. So much so in fact you like to imitate him and push around fire trucks and make your very own siren noise. It's adorable :) You also still love to eat, eat, eat and will eat just about anything. Surprisingly you're not too sure about strawberries and don't like milk. You like to take a drink of milk and then slowly let it run out of your mouth. Needless to say transitioning over from formula to milk has been messy and you haven't been a fan. You're very much a meat and potatoes kinda guy and devour rotiserrie chicken and mashed potatoes. Papa was pretty sure the other day for your birthday dinner that you ate more than him! We've also discovered you are like your brother and LOVE chocolate cake. You're still a little paci baby but seem to be naturally weaning yourself off of it - you've got too much to say to have it in your mouth nowadays. You love to be outside and always book it whenever you see an open door and then scream when you can't go outside :) You're becoming quite dramatic too and will flail on the ground, roll around and whine. There seems to be a trend that you make it known when you don't get your way - I'm fearful of 2! You are so close to walking and if you were brave enough you definitely could do it. You stand up on your own no problem and will take one of two steps to shift around but have yet to really get going. Instead you just bear crawl around so you don't scrape your knees unless you're on the soft carpet. Uh-oh was your first word and you say it all the time. I think you like to drop stuff just so you can say uh-oh. You love to be tickled and chased and crack up when we do either of those things to you. You also love to be upside down and think it's the best thing ever. You still don't like the car but are getting better about it and will even sleep in it every once in a while. You're quite opposite of your brother in that sense though since he is basically narcoleptic and passes out in the car all the time within 20 seconds. You're already very much a boy and a tough one at that. You get tackled and whacked and don't even make a peep. You just get right up and keep on going. You like all the typical boy stuff like cars, balls, trucks, etc. You are such a happy guy and bring so much joy to our family. You're the cutest little thing and we love you so much Lando!!!
