Carter was very excited to wake up on his birthday and find some decorations and presents (don't mind the disarray of the house in the background of the pictures...). Dane stayed home late that morning and we enjoyed a breakfast doughnut - Carter did his usual thing and ate just the sprinkles and frosting off the top of the doughnut. We then enjoyed the rest of the day with lots of playing and then had a family dinner. Carter was the most excited about his cake and was shoving it in his face. Landon also loved his first taste of chocolate birthday cake and shoved it in his face too. Carter even got a cool batman shirt with a cape from Auntie that made his night. All in all I think it was a nice little 3rd birthday for Carter.
