November

November was filled with lots of holiday activity and we discovered that Carter is like me and very enthusiastic about the holidays whereas at this point Landon is like Dane and could really care less.  At least I have Carter and he gets excited so it's easier to convince Dane to go to different things.  Events like the tree lighting at the outlets.  Dane was resistant to this one because they did it at the beginning of November - apparently he just can't be in the Christmas spirit a whole month or two in advance - I sure can though!  So me and Carter happily went and drug Dane and Landon with us.  We stopped at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory so Landon was at least a little happier after that.

Carter was tapping his feet to the music, saying ooh and aah about all the stuff while Landon just laid in the stroller sucking on his treat looking very unimpressed with it all :)
The pretty tree all lit up

Probably Carter's highlight of November was when Kristen came to visit for a week and he got to spend lots of time with her.  He adores her and loves to hang out with her.  We went down to the springs for a couple days and she stayed with us a couple days.  Carter was in heaven.

We also celebrated Dane's 32nd birthday in November.  Carter even picked out his own present for him and wrapped/covered it in stickers too.
Just what Dane always wanted - a foam football :)

Everyone enjoyed the chocolate cake.  I made Dane some spaghetti and meatballs and told him that was a true sign of love because I almost lost my lunch quite a few times as I was making the meatballs.
For Thanksgiving we headed down to the springs and enjoyed watching Dane play in his annual Turkey Bowl game.  Only one broken bone this year (not Dane though) and lots of soreness after.
 All ready for turkey dinner

Landon was all about Leanne over Thanksgiving.  Wherever she went, he went.
My mom wanted us to try to take a picture of the boys next to their plane Christmas tree the next day which proved to be near impossible.
This was the best we got
Most were like this with Landon crying or one of them wandering off
We went up the day after Thanksgiving to cut down our Christmas tree.  There was hardly any snow up there though - it was really strange.  We couldn't even pull Carter on the sled for parts of it because it was just dirt.
Group shot in front of our tree
Enjoying some lunch before we headed out
Carter even got to climb up the really tall ladder and help put on the star
Landon enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie and supervised

All decorated with only a few ornaments that had already been pulled off shortly after being put on.  We pretty much always had a few ornaments on the ground or sitting on the bookshelf needing to be put back on but no broken ones - probably since the bottom 1/3 of the tree pretty much only had plastic ornaments.
