Some randomness from June for us...
Carter and Landon have been sleeping in the same room in their bunk beds and doing pretty good with it. Sometimes though, early riser Carter wakes Landon up a little too early. One morning Landon was just not ok with being awake yet so I put him in the crib so he could try to go back to sleep. Notice the time stamp at the bottom of the picture - that's right he was still sleeping at 10:30. This is amazing to me that he slept that long!
and another picture from the monitor of Landon during nap time. He'd pulled in a bunch of books from the night stand, taken off his diaper and then passed out, buns in the air. Quite a site when I checked to see if he'd fallen asleep yet.
During the Black Forest fire my parents and their dogs came to stay with us. The boys loved having so many people to give them attention. Carter even tried convincing my parents that they could just live in our basement forever. While they were with us we decided to head to the zoo one day to get out of the house and stop checking the news obsessively. The night before we went this baby zebra was born.
The boys always love the zoo. Landon was passed out in the stroller by this point.
Surprisingly Daisy even tolerated Sparky. Typically she does not like other dogs at all. This made Carter even more sure that my parents should live with us since all the dogs became friends.

They were building a new splash pad at the pool and the boys were very entertained by it. Luckily this made the 15 minute safety breaks they have at the top of the hour a lot more tolerable.

Carter started t-ball and was very excited about it. I told him to take a picture before his first practice and he told me he had to do his move for it. Apparently this is his "move"

We had a birthday party with a circus theme and Carter loved the barrel train ride that they had
Surprisingly Landon did not want to get in a barrel at all but was quite happy to sit and watch and hang out with the dog
