We tried to take the boys out to do a few fun things before the baby came because we knew we'd probably be sticking around home for a bit right after his arrival. We hadn't been to the aquarium in quite a while so we headed there one day.
Carter apparently felt the need to bite the shark

Carter loved feeding the rays fish - though I'm not sure if he had more fun playing with the little fish or trying to feed the rays.
A trip to the firehouse after me and the boys had gone to the zoo - sadly walking around in 90 degree weather while pushing these boys around in the stroller did not bring on labor like I was hoping... Checking out equipment and picking out their own red helmets just like dads.

Leanne found this really cute picture on Pinterest of a mom sitting with her daughter and they were both looking at this bellies. She decided she'd try to recreate it for me and this is the best we got. The fact that it was a mother and daughter and I found no pictures like this really with sons probably says something... This picture did make me realize how pasty my belly was compared to the rest of me - it doesn't even look real.
And our best attempt at a family photo. Pretty normal - me in sweats, boys naked, Carter with a thumbs up - yep, that's us.
