Owen, I can't believe you're already over 5 months old! I'm getting so sad about you growing up which seems to make Dane nervous as he keeps telling me, "he's the last one." I'm truly enjoying this time with you as a little guy and know how quickly it goes by. Ever since we got your reflux under control around 2 months you've really been a piece of cake (other than not wanting to sleep through the night!). You are seriously so happy, smiley and easy going. You stick to a schedule of eat, stay awake for about 1 1/2 hours and then you nap for 1 1/2 hours. There's not a whole lot of deviation from that if it were up to you but you do just fine when we're out and about and your schedule gets messed up. You love watching your older brothers and they keep you pretty entertained. You and Landon seem to currently have a special bond and you are always smiling at him. You do love Carter lots too though. I think Landon's just more of a gentle soul with you - which is somewhat surprising since he's by far our loudest kid. You're starting to take a real interest in toys but still love to chew on your hands, toes and someone else's fingers as much as you can. You're our lighter baby and your hair is a light brown (and shows up almost reddish in pictures) and your eyes are looking like they might be hazel or brown. You've got some nice chub on ya right now and I love my little rolley polley guy. Your stats are your 4 month appointment were:

So you're not quite the haus that Landon was but you're not missing any meals either. The last week and a half have been full of firsts. You rolled from your tummy to your back on your 5 month birthday (the 12th), started sitting up on your own for 10+ minutes on the 17th, slept through the night and went all out sleeping from 8:15-8:15 on the 19th (but was back up at 4 last night...) and rolled from your back to your tummy on the 20th. Apparently you decided you decided you just wanted to save up everything for 5 months and fit it all in at once. Hopefully the sleeping will get better at night though you usually only get up once, eat and then go right back to bed. I just don't sleep either so it seems like a lot of days I'm just up at 4 a.m. which makes me ready for bed by 5 p.m. You are so sweet and I love all the giggles you give us!

Great pictures. This was written just like a mom of three. "other than the reflux and not sleeping through the night, he's a piece of cake:)" Gray was so easy too, I think a lot of it was knowing how quick all the stages pass by!
