Carter is starting to enjoy going to the park more and more. He's always liked to go and watch the other kids, but now that's he's getting better at walking (and more importantly walking with his shoes/sandals on) he's loving to explore. It's so fun for me to watch him climb up on everything and get so happy when he is on the swing or going down the slide. I love that he loves being outside!
Since it's been so warm out we've been heading to the pool when Dane gets home from work. Carter absolutely loves to swim and has even started to "jump" off the side into the pool. If he's sitting down or standing on the edge he will heave himself into the water - his version of jumping. I think we may have the next Michael Phelps in the making :) After we got back from the pool one night Carter had a nice and messy time with his food. He loves to feed himself which can sometimes lead to food getting everywhere. Luckily the dogs are very good at cleaning up after him!
