A couple weekends ago Dane had some training up in Fort Collins for a couple hours so Carter and I decided to join him. We wanted to meet Maxen, Matt and Colleen's son, and were going to go to an Eagles hockey game that night. Carter and I just did some stuff around town while we waited for Dane. We went to Ben and Jerry's in Old Town and met Dane afterwards. Carter was not interested in ice cream, but he loved the car that was there and getting to drive it. He loves to drive!
That night we went to an eagles game with a group. Tate had gotten a suite - which is the best place ever to seat with a little one.
Dane and Matt with their sons - Carter, 20 months, Maxen, 2 months. Carter was really sweet with Maxen and just kinda looked at him, tried to share his gold fish with him and really wanted to play with his baby stuff like his bouncer seat and swing.
We spent a lot of time running up and down the halls...
Finally tired, in jammies and ready to go home. The game didn't get over until about 9:30 and I was shocked that Carter didn't even get cranky throughout the game. He had a lot of fun watching hockey and running all over the place. He is now obsessed with playing hockey in our basement so apparently he picked up some moves while watching.
