I'm really not big into the traditional get flowers and go out to dinner on Valentine's (I think it's super cheesy and would much rather have these things happen on a random day), so this year we had a family day on Sunday (the day before Valentine's) and went to the Museum of Nature and Science. Carter made it through most of the planetarium show - but I think the end started to scare him a bit. After that though he loved running around and looking at all the animals that he got to see. We started out in the space area.
And then headed over to the dinosaur exhibit. Carter was in heaven in this part. Lots of roaring was happening and he was completely fascinated by all the exhibits.
He liked all the animal displays but didn't seem to understand why he couldn't climb in and go pet the animals.
We then headed to the discovery zone and he loved all the things he could play with.
I think his favorite was getting to dig and brush off dirt to find dinosaur bones though.
