Huffman Happenings

The other weekend was probably one of Carter's most ideal weekends ever.  We started out by heading up to Fort Collins on Saturday - Dane had a test and Carter and I went and met Courtney, saw some of the St. Patrick's day parade, went to the farmers market and ran around Old Town.  Despite breaking one of the spice jars in the spice shop (oops) he had a good time and I always enjoy getting to spend some time with Courtney.  Here Carter is climbing on the fish in Old Town.

On Sunday we went and met Leanne at the Wheat Ridge rec center to go check out their indoor water park area.  Carter was in heaven!  He was all pumped up to wear his new dinosaur swim trunks and even when his little teeth were chattering he did not want to leave the water.  We stayed for over an hour in the pool and he was still upset when we left.  I have a feeling we'll be spending lots more time at the pool this summer.
