Letterpress Time!
Courtney's neighbor Denise is one amazing lady! She has a studio in her backyard where she uses a letterpress that is over 100 years old to make invitations, stationary, coasters and on and on. Everything is so cute and I could spend hours in her studio looking at all the things she's created. I told her it was probably good Dane and I didn't live next door to them with my love of crafting and because Denise's husband, Doug is a fire fighter for Poudre I think we'd be over there all the time bugging them! She offers classes and Courtney had emailed Tracey and I awhile ago to see if we wanted to take one. Most classes are 2 hours long - we took up 4 hours of her time - oops. And we probably would have been just fine being there for a few more hours. Here's her blog http://cabinpressstudio.blogspot.com/ so you can see what we did on Sunday. If you look closely you can even find baby #2's name in there :) We were going back and forth on the middle name recently but I told Dane that we can't change it now - it's been stamped! It was so interesting learning about the letterpress and seeing how much time and effort she has to put into everything she makes. We all had a great time and I'm sure we'll be back for more!
