Off to School!

I've got lots of pictures to share from last weekend and this week of the fair and some hiking but we've been too busy with Carter heading off...

 and starting his first day of preschool on Tuesday!!!  He's been very excited about it and loves going to school and having homework to do.  I have to admit I got a little teary eyed walking back to my car after dropping him off though.  It wasn't leaving him there, but knowing that he's old enough to be in preschool that got me.  I still can't believe it.  I'm so excited for him but it makes me sad to think my baby is growing up!

 He was totally ready to go though. 

 His teacher said he was a little quiet and shy, but no tears and the second day he was a champ.  He goes on Tuesday and Thursday for 2 hours and 45 minutes.  

 And what do you do when you're home all by yourself without your big brother?  Well, you play with all the fire trucks and love the fact that no one is there to steal them from you!

 He was seriously so excited to get to play with all of them undisturbed :)  And I sat and felt like my boys are just about ready to move out and be on their own and the rate life is happening!
