A couple weeks ago Leanne had a Wednesday off so we all decided to head to the zoo. Since school had already started we didn't think it'd be too crowded. Apparently we were very wrong. It was packed. I don't know if school groups do a lot of field trips at the beginning of the year or what but it was one of the most crowded times we've been there. So we didn't stay too long. Did a quick loop through, splashed in the water area and then got out of the craziness. Before we picked up Leanne we stopped to get her a starbucks and the boys split a little vanilla bean shake. Guess the addiction to starbucks starts early in our family :)
I think we had a more enjoyable time once we got out of the zoo and had a little picnic lunch in the big grassy areas in the parking lot.
Carter has recently started loving taking pictures and I was shocked when I saw he actually got all of us in this one - usually he captures his feet, the ground, etc.
Landon had a great time trying to catch squirrels and crows while running around in his diaper (his pants had gotten all wet in the water area)
