Oh Landon, you are turning into such a little boy. My baby is slowly disappearing (sniff, sniff). We went to the doctor at the beginning of October and here's where the big man stood:
Height: 32 1/2" (80th percentile)
Weight: 25 lbs. 13.6 oz (80th percentile)
Head: 48.5 cm (85th percentile)
Still going strong with his size but he did decrease slightly. Some of that chub is starting to melt away now that he's busy as could be and he's entered the phase where he's more interested in playing than eating - which for Landon is shocking. His little personality is really coming out and he's a pretty funny little guy. He's as tough as could be and he seriously needs to wear a helmet. He's our reckless one. We thought Carter could be crazy but Landon is pretty much fearless right now. He's also started climbing onto everything and is tall enough now he can get up on chairs. He also loves to go leaping off the ottoman onto the couch so you've gotta be paying attention to try to catch him. He's started giving it back to his brother and Dane and I can't help but laugh because we've been telling Carter for the last year that he better watch out and now the time as come for Landon's revenge. I'm pretty sure he kept a running tally of all the hits, kicks, toy stealing, etc. that happened over the last year. He does love his big brother though and most of the time the get along great. He follows him around and always wants to do whatever he's doing. He's been over baby toys for the last month now and loves all things that move and are dirty, as all boys do. Cars, trucks, and trains are his favorite. The boy LOVES his Chuggington - even my mom was singing the theme song the other day - apparently we all hear it a lot! He's started to talk more and more and some of his favorite words are uh-oh, good girl (for the dogs), tackle (he loves to say this as he's tackling you to the ground, one of his favorite things), bye bye, hello, choo choo, truck and all sorts of other little words. But with all those words he still refuses to call me mama. He can say mama but he insists on calling me dada. He's started to recently become more of a fan of Dane and is calling him dada so maybe he'll start calling me mama soon, but for now I am dada. He is still very much a mama's boy though and my biceps (especially the left one) can prove it since I'm typically the one who has to hold him. Seeing as he's 26 pounds that gets a little tiring after a while. He's started to finally like to snuggle though and I love sitting with him in the evenings when he's calm and holding still which is a rarity. He has to cutest little fake laugh he does and still scrunches up his nose with big smiles which he's done since he was an infant. He loves, loves, loves to dance and will always stop whatever he's doing and start dancing as soon as he hears music. He's also a little collector and loves to go around gathering things and holding them in his little fists. Our neighbor said she's determined he's going to be a biologist. He definitely loves to explore, play and just be a boy. And he's the cutest little thing I've ever seen (well along with his brother) :)
