The boys and I went to the zoo thinking we'd take advantage of one of the last few warms days - or at least I thought it'd be one of the last few warm days. Turns out the weather has remained really nice. But we had a great time as we always do at the zoo.
This guy loves wearing sunglasses - I've never seen a little one who likes to wear them.
Both boys love the tropical discovery and we probably spent a good 10 minutes at this exhibit alone.
Since they've turned off the water in the little creek area Carter had fun climbing up on the rocks. He kept telling me to look at him and his big muscles each time after he climbed up.
He also told all his adoring fans he saw out there.
Landon thought it was hilarious to run full speed down the banks while giving me a heart attack because I was pretty sure he was going to eat it and face plant. Luckily he didn't.
We met Leanne one day at the Museum of Nature and Science. The boys were really fascinated by the t-rex out front.
Carter was a little hesitant and nervous though as he came up closer to him.
Landon just loved climbing all over everything. He's definitely my climber.

Towards the end, Landon just laid on the floor, put a finger up his nose and wouldn't move. He was apparently spent and this was his sign.

Another fun event was we went down to Color Me Mine in the springs to do some painting with my mom. Carter painted a dragon which now sits on his night stand and he loves it.
and we got some hand prints from Landon.
Me, my dad and the boys went up the dinosaur museum in Woodland Park the next day. Carter and Papa walked around looking at the dinosaurs while I chased Landon around.
He loved playing in this little teepee and that was the highlight of the museum for him.
