Here are the rest of the pictures from our trip (lots of them!)
Carter and Dane enjoying a book together.
We decided to walk down to Navy Pier one day and went along the river walk
Carter really likes to walk while he holds onto your hand - that way he can go a lot faster then when he's by himself.
We decided to go on the ferris wheel at Navy Pier since none of us had been on it before. Carter was passed out beforehand, but woke up just as we got to the top.
Dressed up for Mike's graduation
Getting tickled by dad
Carter loves to "talk" on the phone. The funny thing is that he'll use anything as a phone. Cell phones, remotes, toys, just his hand - he even held up one of my headbands to his ear the other day and was saying hi.
On Sunday night we were pretty worn out after being at Navy Pier all morning and then Mike's graduation all afternoon so we decided to just stay in for dinner. DeJorn brought over some deep dish pizza and spaghetti for us. We used Carter's stroller as a high chair and he gobbled up his spaghetti!
The last day we were in Chicago we went to Hot Doug's, a famous hot dog restaurant and then headed to Shedd's Aquarium. Carter always seems to enjoy looking at the fish and everything else. He had fun walking around with Aunt DeJorn.
We could not get Carter to look up for this picture. The sign he was sitting on had a light right under him so he was very focused on that.
Checking out the belugas.
Playing in the submarine.
They had penguin suits and a little penguin play area - so we had to partake :)
Cute little penguin!
