My first mother's day! Dane made a cute sign that he hung on the mantle. Surprisingly he stayed awake longer than I did on Saturday night (which does not usually happen) so he could put it up.
He also made me "extreme" eggs benedict as he called it - eggs benedict with a crab cake, bacon and avocado. Big, but delicious! He also got me a locket :)
We enjoyed the nice weather and just hung out at home, went to the dog park at Chatfield and got dinner from Whole Foods - good Mother's day!
On Saturday we went and met my mom and sister for lunch in Castle Pines for an early mother's day get together. Carter was in complete amazement of the huge pizza!
He also LOVED the crust!
Before we left my mom stuck him in her car and let him "drive." He thought it was so fun - it's funny what babies find to be so amusing.

Alright - finally caught up on my blogging! Just in time to leave for Chicago on Friday to take a ton of pictures. We're so excited to go visit DeJorn, see Mike for graduation and go to our first Cubs game. It should be a really fun trip!
