I am so excited with the addition of babies into my close group of friends!!! For almost the last 3 years I've been the only one with kids out of my close girlfriends. Not the case anymore - 2 new adorable ones have arrived! I'm not only excited for other babies to be around (and to help push off the baby fever - I'm WAY worse since having kids - I would have thought it would have been opposite...) but I'm also so excited for my friends to become parents. I think kids are so much fun and so wonderful, and I'm excited that Courtney and Leanne get to now share in that joy - and can relate to the bad parts too :)

| We went up to Fort Collins to meet Emmery - she is such a little peanut and Landon is gigantic! Amazing how different these two are only being 9 months apart! |

| And look at this little guy!!! How cute is baby Mason - seriously, so adorable! |

Funny thing that happened when everyone came over to our house... We'd been out in the morning and as we were driving home I told Carter we had to go home and take a nap really quick so that he wouldn't be grumpy when friends came over. Then as I was putting him down I told him that when he woke up our friends would be there and he was very excited about it. He didn't wake up until everyone was already there. I looked down the hall and saw him peeking out of the room so I went to go get him and asked him if he wanted to come out. I asked him if he was excited that all our friends were there. He then looked out at everyone, looked at me and said, "mom, I need new friends." Apparently a house full of babies and adults was not exactly what he was looking forward too. He did manage to convince Jamison (or James-son as Carter said) to go out back and play soccer with him so I think that made up for some of his disappointment in his "friends" at the house!
