Goals Fail...

Well not completely but overall I'd saw the whole idea of goals for March went to the wayside.  March pretty much consisted of packing, moving and unpacking.  It also involved trying to get the boys settled and we finished up the end up the month with vomiting and stomach bugs - fun stuff!  We did manage to accomplish some things though.  We went through a lot of our stuff prior to packing it up but after actually moving it I think we determined we could probably get rid of ever more.  Funny how having to move it makes you really think whether you need it or not!  I see a big garage sale in our future...  We did also get our tickets for Hawaii - YES!!!!!!!!  Is it September yet?  We are VERY excited for this trip!  Carter also keeps asking when he can go back to the beach.  I think we both did a little bit better with finding time to work out this month and I did try out a few new recipes but we've been inconsistent with both.  We had a nice anniversary dinner out during 5280 week but that was about the extent of our time together in March.  Weekends and nights were busy with organizing and cleaning and all sorts of exciting things.  Dane did nothing with a website and I did nothing with photoshop.  I also tried to update the blog a little more often but still have pictures from the last month I never put up.  So I'd say we were about at 50% for this month and we made no plans for making goals for April.  I think this will be something we'll put on hold until we get into a new house and can start to resemble normal life again.  The rental house is still working out pretty well but we'll be excited to have some more space and have all our stuff out again.  I went to make baby food the other day and after I baked the squash realized I had the cuisinart base and blade, but no bowl.  So I got one batch mixed but it didn't work out so well and I have no idea where the box with the bowl might be.  We looked around a bit but I decided it was not worth digging around for.  So Gerber food it is for Landon!  He'll survive :)  Or perhaps we'll have a big baby food party at Grammys.  Plus he likes table food a lot more than baby food anyways so his baby food consumption has been decreasing.  It's small things that make us want to be more settled though.  I do think Carter is thoroughly enjoying sharing a room with us though and he loves to jump from his mattress to our mattress so at least someone's having a good time with it all!
