Berries and Bikes

This last weekend I convinced Dane to go the Berry Patch Farms so we could pick some strawberries.  I'd say he wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea of doing this early Saturday morning, but he's a good husband and went along with it and I think even enjoyed himself.  Though he did not enjoy all the mosquito bites he got while picking raspberries.  I was busy riding on the tractor with the boys so we missed out on that.

After the farm we spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool which was very nice because we all got very hot picking berries.  Then on Sunday we headed over to Leanne's house and then walked downtown to watch the end of the US Pro Cycle.  It's amazing how fast those bikers go!

On our way back to Leanne's we stopped and got some jamba juice.  Then once we got going Landon decided he was too hungry to go on so we stopped to give him a bottle.  Carter asked to get out of the stroller and then went over to the wall where Dane was standing and struck a pose just like his dad while enjoying his juice.

We also headed down to the springs for dinner at the Bankers.  Tommy is in town from Okinawa so it was great to see him and he made a delicious Japanese dinner for us.  Doug, Danielle, Isaiah and Kayla all came over too.  Carter had a ton of fun playing with Isaiah and Kayla and was thrilled once they started chasing each other, tackling and wrestling.  He had no problem taking out the 5 year old girl who is probably twice his size.  Luckily all kids were laughing hysterically the whole time and they provided quite the entertainment for all the adults!  Landon better keep up with being big so he can handle his big brute of a brother!
